Next up is Dennison Commercials Apprentice Technician, Carson Winters. Carson has followed in his dad's footsteps to become a mechanic and during his time at Dennisons he hopes to work towards his Level 3 in Heavy Goods Vehicle Maintenance.

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲 & 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗲?
"I've been an apprentice now at Dennison Commercials Ballyclare for 8 months and have loved it so far. I have gained a lot of knowledge on AdBlue and gearbox and engine fault repair. I've also been doing service work and of course maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of the workshop."

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗱 𝗱𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗮𝘁 𝗗𝗲𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗻𝘀?
"I have definitely developed my independent working skills, being able to start a task and bring it to completion. I’m also more confident in a lot more areas of HGV maintenance as I had previously only worked with cars before starting my apprenticeship."

𝗙𝗮𝘃𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗮𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗕𝗼𝗱𝘆𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺?
"My favourite part has to be the team here, we all have a good laugh together and I love the motivated atmosphere to get the work done. I also love the change from working with cars to working with HGV, to learn and develop my skills in this area."

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁'𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗷𝗼𝗯?
"My dream job has always been to be a mechanic and now specifically the HGV side of this. Id love to specialise in gearbox repair (like my dad) and would also love to work towards my class 1 HGV license."
